Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Associate will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise while ensuring a tidy and organized presentation of products throughout the store.

Customer Engagement:

  • Represent the store positively at all times.
  • Proactively assist customers in resolving issues.
  • Welcome customers as they enter and thank them upon leaving.
  • Maintain a friendly and outgoing attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
  • Respond to all inquiries and calls promptly and courteously.
  • Direct any unresolved customer complaints to management.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and familiarity with store layout.
  • Provide personalized assistance to customers, aiming to impress every visitor.
Store Operations

  • Contribute to a safe, professional, and positive work atmosphere.
  • Assist with the receipt, checking, and stocking of products throughout the store.
  • Help maintain appropriate back stock levels.
  • Support daily upkeep and cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor areas.
  • Ensure a neat and organized sales floor, including promotional displays.
  • Participate in merchandise resets across the store.
  • Support Department Specialists with tasks such as pricing updates and special orders.
  • Ensure that all signage is current and accurate.
  • Operate a forklift safely, following proper training.
  • Communicate any issues requiring Store Support Center attention to the General Manager.
  • Share any merchandising, cost control, or sales suggestions with the General Manager.
  • Engage in store meetings.
  • Maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct.
  • Handle propane dispensing.
  • Be capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What to Anticipate:


You will interact directly with customers, assisting them in finding everything they need to complete their projects efficiently.

You will be on your feet for the majority of your shift (6 to 8 hours) and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
