Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records. You will administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects, and will also monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement nursing care plans
  • Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Requirements:
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • AHA BLS certification prior to the end of the orientation period
