Job Title: Preschool Teacher

Job Summary:

Merryhill School is seeking a qualified Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our students. You will implement our proprietary curriculum, which is literacy-based and structured, but also purposefully flexible. Teachers are encouraged to be creative and intentional when developing activities, ensuring instructional decisions are based on students' interests and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate classroom operations and implement our proprietary curriculum
  • Develop activities that cater to students' interests and needs
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community
  • Meet minimum preparation and experience required for certification as an Early Childhood Education Teacher (CDA) or 12 Early Childhood Education Units

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position
  • Complies with all state-specific education requirements
