Job Title: Lead Infant Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our founding team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and leading a model classroom that embodies the principles of authentic Montessori education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of our Infant students
  • Lead a team of teachers and support staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues to promote professional growth and development
  • Collaborate with parents to ensure a seamless transition between home and school
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in Montessori education and implement new ideas and approaches in the classroom

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Montessori certification or willingness to obtain
  • At least 2 years of experience working with Infant students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for Montessori education and a commitment to its principles
