About the Role

Talent Vision is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Language Arts Educator to join our team at a Trenton, NJ Charter School. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and creating a supportive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging and challenging curriculum and assessments that meet academic standards
  • Utilize data to inform instructional practices and drive student growth
  • Develop and implement effective literacy interventions, including guided reading and small group instruction
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in English Language Arts education and incorporate new ideas into your teaching
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Teaching experience in an upper elementary, middle, or high school setting, particularly with underserved populations
  • Valid NJ Teacher Certification or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse audiences
