This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic neonatologist to utilize superior leadership and interpersonal skills to lead a team of 3 associate neonatologists and 2 advanced NICU practitioners to provide continuous in-house coverage at a regional referral center serving Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the future growth of the GWV NICU from its current level 14 beds and collaborate with leadership at the Level IV NICU regional referral center in Danville, PA.
- Oversee the GWV physician group and collaborate with maternal fetal medicine, obstetrics, nursing, and ancillary services.
- Complete ongoing outcomes assessments, maximize patient satisfaction, and participate in system-wide NICU committees.
- Maintain a close clinical and administrative relationship with Geisinger's Director of Newborn Services.
- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania.
