Key Responsibilities- Apply analytical techniques to address the Navy's hardest communications challenges
- Shape communications architectures by leveraging a strong understanding of industry trends and innovations
- Modernize critical Naval capabilities through the development of technical specifications, and integration and test strategies
- Clearly and concisely communicate highly technical analyses and recommendations to sponsors and partners in written and verbal products
- Serve as a key contributor to or lead a dynamic, multi-disciplined and geographically dispersed teams that develops innovative technical solutions
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field; or 3 years and an MS or a PhD with relevant experience
- Experience with Naval Communication Systems, such as terminal development and acquisition, co-site analysis, network architecture, link development, verification & validation testing
- Research and development experience on one or more of the following areas: surface command, control, and communications, weapon systems, or sensing systems
- Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB, or other modeling, development, and analysis tools
- Active DOD Top Secret/SCI level security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field; or 6 years and an MS or a PhD with 3 years' experience
- Previous experience with Naval Communication Systems, such as terminal development and acquisition, co-site analysis, network architecture, link development, verification & validation testing
- Research and development experience on one or more of the following areas: surface command, control, and communications, weapon systems, or sensing systems
- Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB, or other modeling, development, and analysis tools
