Position Overview: A Culinary Team Member is tasked with the preparation of food items in alignment with recipes and established standards, contributing to the hotel's commitment to exceptional service and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items according to specified recipes and quality benchmarks
  • Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards consistently
  • Manage guest orders in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu and all food offerings
  • Stock and maintain assigned food station(s)
  • Conduct visual inspections of all food items before they leave the kitchen
  • Follow proper food handling and storage protocols in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items as necessary

Required Skills:

  • Organized, neat, and efficient work habits
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service abilities
  • Possession and maintenance of any applicable food handling certifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

No prior experience required

Work Hours:

Primarily Monday from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with occasional requests for additional days based on scheduling needs. Availability to work weekends and holidays may be required.

Physical Demands:

Must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.
