Orthopedic and Neurological Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical / Ortho & Neuro unit at Saint Mary's Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and healthcare providers to monitor neurological statuses, cognitive functions, motor skills, and sensory responses.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' conditions, monitor vitals, administer orders and medications, and document progress.
- Provide wound care and manage surgical incisions.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and self-care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Valid and current Connecticut registered nurse licensure.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in an Acute Inpatient setting.
- BLS or CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Part-time position with 24 hours per week, Night Shift.
- Rotating weekends and holidays required for all shifts.
