Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working independently to plan and deliver care in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to established guidelines and the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Monitor patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and making adjustments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in nursing.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.

  • Other REQUIRED RN attributes are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN degree preferred.
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred.
