Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. As a Frontend Software Engineer at MORSE Corp, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying web-based applications that support AI model development, simulation, situational awareness, and mission planning capabilities for our DoD customers.

You will work closely with our HCI and UX engineers to design intuitive UIs and collaborate with software engineers to implement them.

Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, and deploy web-based applications using React, React Native, and other technologies
  2. Collaborate with HCI and UX engineers to design intuitive UIs and implement them with software engineers
  3. Work on a team developing new code bases that are object-oriented, extensible, and maintainable
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development
  5. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
Requirements
  1. US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED or the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  2. 5+ years experience working on front end development and UI/UX for web applications
  3. Fluency in JavaScript
  4. Knowledge of React
  5. Strong UI development skills
  6. Knowledgeable about test driven development (TDD)
  7. Experience with design patterns
  8. Experience with version control systems Git and/or Subversion
  9. Experience working with teams using Agile software development
  10. BS or MS (preferred) in computer science or equivalent degree, and at least 5 years of experience
