Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Heritage Christian Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement nursing care plans and oversee the provision of health-related services.
- Teach health care topics to direct support staff and ensure they are properly trained.
- Provide on-call support for direct support staff and LPNs as needed.
- Develop and implement the Nursing Service Plan & Nursing Plan of Care.
Requirements:
- New York State licensure as a registered nurse.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively present and communicate information to audiences with a variety of knowledge/skill levels.
