Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a challenging role in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

As an MRI Scanner Operator, you will be responsible for operating MRI machines to create detailed images of the inside of a patient's body, which are used by doctors to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Key responsibilities include positioning patients correctly, ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining equipment, and providing high-quality images while delivering compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to explain the MRI procedure to patients, addressing any questions or concerns to reduce anxiety.

You will also be responsible for conducting MRI scans, operating the MRI machine, adjusting settings as prescribed by physicians, and monitoring the process to confirm quality imaging.

Patient safety is a top priority, and you will ensure that no ferrous or metal objects are present on patients during the procedure.

In addition, you will perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the MRI machine, clean and disinfect the MRI suite and equipment between patients, and document all relevant patient information and scan results in the electronic health record.

The salary package for this role is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
