About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a CST, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, preparing equipment and supplies, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and arrange surgical equipment and supplies
  • Conduct field preparation and maintenance
  • Conduct instrument counts prior to surgical procedures
  • Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients
  • Provide patients with supportive care during pre-operative phases

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or Technical certificate/diploma in a related field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • If LPN, must have current, valid State license as a Licensed Professional Nurse
