About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team at Community Medical Centers of Fresno, CA. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patient needs and abilities to determine the most effective recreational therapy approaches.
  • Develop and implement a variety of recreational and leisure activities to meet patient goals and improve rehabilitative efforts.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of recreational therapy into patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in therapeutics.
  • National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification or California Board of Parks and Recreation Personnel Certification.
