A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR RN CLINICAL DIRECTOR
As our Clinical Director, you will arrive each day prepared to elevate our hospice services. You will oversee our clinical and operational activities to meet the needs of our patients and enhance their quality of life. By coordinating daily tasks and 24-hour services, you ensure that patient needs are prioritized. Collaborating with the HR department, you will assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff. You will serve as a resource for our field personnel, address and resolve reported incidents, conduct performance assessments, and develop improvement plans while educating staff on infection control and abuse recognition.
One of your key responsibilities will be to ensure patient satisfaction by visiting patients as necessary. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with referral sources and respond to customer feedback. Additionally, you will manage the branch's annual budget, considering the financial implications of all admissions, discharges, and recertifications. Through effective planning, quality assurance, and exemplary leadership, our hospice program will continue to achieve favorable care outcomes. You will take pride in your contributions to the success of our branch.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Oklahoma RN license
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- At least 1 year of hospice experience
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within 60 days of hire
- Familiarity with Medicare guidelines for home health agencies
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Basic computer proficiency
