About the Role

As a Process Engineer at Trelleborg Industrial Solutions - Marine & Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in developing manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation related to electrical and testing aspects for our Docking & Mooring product area. You will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and contribute to the flawless operation of our company.

Key Responsibilities

Review and understand product specifications from finished goods to components and raw material levels, collaborating with the group product design team.
Work closely with the engineering team to improve product specifications, providing error feedback and correction.
Prepare process drawings (e.g., product drawing, process flow) and necessary documents (e.g., work instructions, operation procedures).
Create and maintain product master data in the ERP system, including Bill of Materials (BoM) and routings.
Plan manufacturing capacity, process cycle time, and standard work to optimize production efficiency.
Provide technical assistance and supervision to production staff, resolving technical issues in daily operations.
Support quality issue analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist QA/QC with process expertise during MDR reviews.
Maintain and manage specifications in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
Support supply chain development through technical reviews and alternative solutions.
Contribute to new product and production introductions.
Supervise and train personnel as required.
Establish and maintain effective technical communication between Trelleborg Manufacturing and Trelleborg Industrial Solutions.
Maintain calibration and records for testing equipment.
Perform additional tasks assigned by the direct manager.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Process Engineer to join our team. You will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, or a related field, and a minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical/electronics industry for product/process engineering. Experience in Manufacturing Excellence/Lean practices is preferred. You will have strong engineering abilities in electrical or electronics products and processes, familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, E-plan, and the ability to read and understand electrical drawings. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C++, VB, PLC) is a plus. You will be able to collect and analyze data for process performance follow-up and improvement, and have excellent time management skills and ability to handle exceptions effectively. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
