Job Title: Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team at Modern Government Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud-native applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in the cloud environment.
  • Integrate cloud-based systems with existing on-premises infrastructure.
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Requirements:
  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) required.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Python).
  • 2+ years of experience working in SAP and/or SCI environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with vSphere for cloud migration.
  • Experience with VMware and SQL.
  • Industry-verified cloud engineering certificates (e.g. CCSP, CompTIA Cloud+, SWA Certified).
