Program Overview

The Brooklyn Park Clinic is a dynamic outpatient setting that provides a range of services to infants, children, and teenagers. Our diverse patient population includes families from urban and suburban areas, as well as those who speak non-English languages (interpreter services are available).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide well-child care, sports physicals, and management of acute and chronic illnesses
  • Address nutritional, developmental, and behavioral concerns
  • Develop areas of specialty focus, such as lactation consulting, ADHD medication management, weight management, and birth control medication management

Qualifications

  • Education: APRN - Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program, Master's Degree required; Doctorate preferred
  • License/Certification: Current MN RN/APRN License, Nationally Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner with either the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Current BLS required

Physical Demands

All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and compliance with the Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. Children's Minnesota requires proof of COVID-19 vaccine and immunity to vaccine-preventable infectious diseases prior to employment.
