Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Bus Attendant to join our team. As a Bus Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bus services, providing exceptional support to our students and drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Boarding and Disembarking: Safely help students get on and off the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor Behavior: Supervise students to prevent disruptions and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Support Special Needs: Provide assistance to students with disabilities or special needs, promoting inclusivity and respect.
- Conduct Safety Checks: Regularly inspect safety equipment and perform routine checks to ensure the bus is safe for operation.
- Respond to Emergencies: Manage emergencies and provide first aid if necessary, prioritizing student safety.
- Communicate Information: Relay issues or updates to parents and school staff, maintaining open communication channels.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bus clean and organized, promoting a healthy and comfortable environment.
- Follow Protocols: Adhere to school and transportation policies, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Assist with Routes: Help with navigation and ensure correct student drop-off/pick-up, minimizing delays.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must hold a GED or High School diploma.
- CDL B License Preferred (Paid Training for New Drivers)
- School Bus and Passenger Endorsements Preferred
- Be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, ensuring you can assist passengers as needed.
