Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with Boarding and Disembarking: Safely help students get on and off the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being.

  • Support Special Needs: Provide assistance to students with disabilities or special needs, promoting inclusivity and respect.
  • Conduct Safety Checks: Regularly inspect safety equipment and perform routine checks to ensure the bus is safe for operation.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Manage emergencies and provide first aid if necessary, prioritizing student safety.
  • Communicate Information: Relay issues or updates to parents and school staff, maintaining open communication channels.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bus clean and organized, promoting a healthy and comfortable environment.
  • Follow Protocols: Adhere to school and transportation policies, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  • Assist with Routes: Help with navigation and ensure correct student drop-off/pick-up, minimizing delays.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must hold a GED or High School diploma.
  • CDL B License Preferred (Paid Training for New Drivers)
  • School Bus and Passenger Endorsements Preferred
  • Be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, ensuring you can assist passengers as needed.
