Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team at Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. in Oriskany Falls. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our mobile equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gasoline engines, power trains, and hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, including electrical and suspension systems.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance in accordance with our PM Program, ensuring all equipment is properly serviced and maintained.
  • Perform road calls in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in heavy equipment repair preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience repairing heavy equipment or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • NYS Heavy Equipment Inspector's License or ability to obtain.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including extreme temperatures and confined spaces. You must be able to lift and carry up to 75-100 pounds and wear personal protective equipment as needed.
