Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a skilled Cardio Sonographer II to join our team in Beverly Hills. As a key member of our cardiovascular medicine group, you will be responsible for performing echocardiogram procedures, utilizing ultrasound equipment, and providing diagnostic studies to physicians. This is a non-exempt position with a competitive salary range of $43.38 - $69.41 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Perform echocardiogram procedures as directed by physicians, utilizing ultrasound equipment and associated procedures.
- Acquire echocardiographic measurements per protocol, create digital preliminary reports, and verbally communicate findings to interpreting physicians.
- Review physician orders to verify appropriateness for procedures.
- Act as a role model in providing care, assist in precepting Cardio Sonographers I, and retrieve studies from PACS for review.
- Prepare patients for studies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience performing echocardiographic studies.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification.
