Clinical Hematologic Malignancy Physician-Scientist

The Duke Department of Medicine invites applications for a full-time faculty position within the Division of Hematologic Malignancies & Cellular Therapy.
The ideal candidate will have an established record of accomplishment in carrying out laboratory-based research, either independently or in a mentored environment. They should demonstrate evidence of increasing independence through publications or successful grant applications.
To be eligible, candidates must hold an MD or MD/PhD degree and be board certified or board eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
Candidates will work within the Duke Cancer Institute, a NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center with eight basic, clinical, and translational research programs. This provides a fertile environment for collaboration and clinical translation of research.
As part of the team, the individual selected will also care for patients within the Division of HMCT, led by over thirty physicians who provide multidisciplinary care and research activities.
