Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Wellpath. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our correctional healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment and Treatment Planning: Assist in assessing patients' medical needs and developing treatment plans in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act and Correctional Health Services policies.
  • Medication Administration and Medical Plans: Administer medications and implement medical plans as directed by healthcare practitioners, utilizing proper techniques and procedures.
  • Emergency Response and Safety: Respond to emergencies and maintain safety through the implementation of established protocols and precautions.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Experience: One (1) or more years of acute care experience preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state employed, and current CPR certification.
