Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to finance and treasury functions, general accounting, capital projects, and human resources.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to promote the university's mission and vision.
  • Manage financial risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive budget planning and financial decision-making.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including the annual budget and financial statements.
  • Identify and manage business risks and insurance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Considerable experience in fiscal management of a large organization, preferably in higher education.
  • Demonstrated ability to do modeling and projections, with strong knowledge of contemporary management techniques.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA certification.
  • Experience in revenue generation and auxiliary services.
  • Proven success in identifying and managing business risks.
