Position Overview

The Building Engineer III role is a pivotal position focused on the upkeep and enhancement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructures within our facilities. This position demands exceptional technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of building systems to guarantee optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the functionality and upkeep of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and various other building systems
  • Identify and resolve intricate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing challenges
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and maintenance personnel
  • Coordinate and oversee building enhancement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations
  • Promote and implement energy efficiency strategies
  • Address tenant inquiries with professionalism and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • Experience: 7-10 years in building engineering or facilities management is essential
  • Certifications: HVAC, electrical, or plumbing licenses are advantageous
  • Skills: In-depth technical knowledge, adept problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and effective communication abilities

Working Environment:

  • Capability to lift heavy machinery and tools
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Experience working in confined spaces and varying temperature conditions
  • Availability for on-call emergencies and adaptable working hours
