Augsburg University seeks a highly motivated and experienced Graduate Assistant for the Women's Lacrosse Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and coaching talented student-athletes, while also pursuing a graduate degree at Augsburg.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and identify prospective student-athletes, adhering to NCAA, MIAC, and Augsburg recruiting standards.
- Perform coaching responsibilities, including practice planning, film analysis, and team meetings.
- Instruct student-athletes on physical health, team concepts, safety, and sport-specific skills.
- Teach, advise, and mentor student-athletes on life skills and academic progress.
- Assist with budget management, fundraising, travel planning, and program organization.
- Supervise student workers, if applicable.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least three years of playing/coaching experience, with recruiting experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Full tuition benefits for a graduate degree at Augsburg University.
- $6,000 annual stipend.
