Radiologic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Dayton Children's Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images for patients of all ages using various diagnostic equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Produce quality diagnostic images using all available diagnostic equipment, including EKG and patient registration.
- Provide services at times that meet the needs of our department's customers.
- Perform tasks with minimal supervision and adhere to quality parameters as determined by the Medical Imaging Department.
- Educate patients and their parents regarding procedures performed within the center.
- Responsible for maintaining educational requirements, including CPR, Ohio licensure, ARRT registration, and hospital-wide Mandatory Education.
- Strive to meet departmental goals concerning patient satisfaction, patient registration accuracy standards, and Cardiology EKG QA/QC.
- Recognize and advocate for each patient's unique healthcare needs and provide considerate, respectful care.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to provide a smooth continuum of care for individual patients.
- HSD/GED is required.
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology/Sciences is required.
- Radiologic License - Ohio Department of Health is required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography is required.
- CPR is required.
