Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Intervention Specialist Assistant On-Call Substitute to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement instructional plans as directed and review with the Intervention Specialist to ensure goals are being met.
- Communicate clearly and accurately with students, staff, and families.
- Provide care and supervision of students in both instructional and non-instructional areas.
- Transport and supervise students on school grounds and during community outings.
- Assist in daily curricular activities such as bus duty, lunch duty, field trips, and other program activities.
- High School Diploma/GED and Ohio Department of Education Educational Aide Certificate.
- Experience working in a classroom setting with young children or youth in a Special Education setting.
- Ability to lift and transfer students safely.
- Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) and paid sick time.
