As a Substitute Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing instructional services and support to children in the absence of the regular Intervention Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Provide instructional services and support to children in the absence of the regular Intervention Specialist.
- Demonstrate knowledge of content and teaching methods to ensure a smooth transition for students.
- Complete daily reports and logs to maintain accurate records.
- Implement classroom management procedures and strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Establish a culture of respect and rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Follow established standards and procedures for classroom behavior and instructional practices.
- Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Engage students in learning activities and provide feedback to promote academic growth.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Ohio Department of Education Intervention Specialist or other applicable Teaching license, mild to moderate; moderate to intensive preferred.
- Valid substitute license as required by the Ohio Department of Education.
- Valid Driver's License may be required.
