**Student Information Systems Manager**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Student Information Systems Manager to join our team at Inner City Education Foundation. As a key member of our Home Office team, you will be responsible for managing data regarding students and teachers, including state data compliance, internal data management, and various data projects in collaboration with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage data regarding students and teachers, including state data compliance, internal data management, and various data projects.
  • Interface with local, California State, federal, and other systems to report student data.
  • Manage timelines for data submission to ensure preparation and accuracy.
  • Create and manage data validation processes.
  • Coordinate with school leaders and teams on the timeline and data validation process.
  • Coordinate with CALPADS data analysts to ensure the SIS is ready for state reporting.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current reporting requirements.
  • Provide status reports regarding our compliance data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • At least three years of work experience.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Tableau or analysis tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with local and State Data Platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with CALPADS and CALSASS, especially with secondary and course codes.
  • Familiarity with PowerSchool or other student data management systems preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong customer service approach and communication skills.
  • Maturity and ability to work independently.
  • Passion for the mission of closing the achievement gap.
  • A desire to work on a high-performing team and take on additional projects, be creative, and propose new solutions.
  • Prior experience working in schools and/or urban communities is preferred.
