Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY

The successful candidate will engage in a 9-month, tenure-track faculty role, focusing on individual research initiatives while collaborating with the Nevada Institute of Personalized Medicine. The position emphasizes the integration of genetics, genome sequencing, and multi-omics methodologies in healthcare research. Candidates should have research interests that align with ongoing studies in biostatistics, human genetics, and the genomics of diseases.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

A PhD or MD/PhD from an accredited institution is required, with research interests that align with biostatistics, genetics, and the genomics of human diseases.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A PhD in Biostatistics, Genetics, Genomics, Biomedical Science, or a related field is preferred. A background in applied biostatistics and an interest in the genetics/genomics of chronic or rare diseases is advantageous.
