Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at High Point Regional Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting.

About the Role
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Assist with patient evaluations, goal development, and treatment planning.
  • Implement treatment plans, conduct exercises and modalities, and provide education to patients and families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital setting, preferably with experience on Inpatient Rehabilitation Units.
  • Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records system.
  • Able to attend remote orientation days and pass online testing within 24-48 hours of receipt.
