SUMMARY: The HR Operations Specialist is responsible for managing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with legal standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the implementation of company-wide HR policies and procedures in alignment with corporate goals and legal requirements.
  • Conduct recruitment processes, including candidate interviews and providing management with hiring recommendations.
  • Oversee the hiring process, which includes background checks, salary negotiations, and communication of job offers.
  • Support the development and maintenance of job descriptions for recruitment and employee management.
  • Collaborate with different departments to facilitate onboarding, training, and offboarding processes.
  • Provide assistance to payroll management by tracking attendance, approving leave requests, and maintaining work schedules.
  • Coordinate employee relations initiatives, including counseling, policy interpretation, and recognition programs.
  • Design and implement strategies to attract qualified candidates through job postings and participation in recruitment events.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding HR processes, policies, and programs.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance employee skills and address workplace issues.
  • Manage communication regarding HR projects, including employee handbooks and benefits enrollment.
  • Identify potential employee relations challenges and provide recommendations to management.
  • Investigate claims of workplace misconduct or policy violations.
  • Administer workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
  • Assist in managing compensation and benefits programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience in HR operations, office management, or recruitment.
  • Certification such as SHRM or PHR is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Experience in recruitment and staffing processes.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
  • Commitment to high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
