Job Summary:

Med-Trans is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our team. As a Helicopter Pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with medical teams to transport patients to and from medical facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Med-Trans requirements
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including Medical Transportation Company (MTC) and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide shift change information to successive pilots and teams, following established protocols
  • Meet and maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Requirements:

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • 2,000 total flight hours
  • 1,500 helicopter hours
  • 1,000 helicopter Pilot-in-Command (PIC) hours
  • 1,000 turbine helicopter hours
  • 200 helicopter night flight hours (aided or unaided)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B407 experience
