We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Helicopter Pilot to join our team at Med-Trans. As a key member of our medical transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with a team of medical experts to ensure the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities- Aircraft Readiness: Ensure that aircraft are ready for flight dispatches, adhering to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Med-Trans requirements.
- Flight Operations: Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with dispatch, flight crews, and facilities to ensure seamless operations.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of flight operations, including MTC and regulatory documentation.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Certifications and Training: Maintain required certifications and ongoing training to ensure compliance with FAA and Med-Trans requirements.
- Commercial Pilot Certificate: Hold a current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
- Instrument Rating: Possess a Helicopter instrument rating.
- Medical Certificate: Hold a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
- Flight Experience: Have a minimum of 2,000 total flight hours, with 1,500 hours of helicopter experience, 1,000 hours of helicopter pilot-in-command experience, and 1,000 hours of turbine helicopter experience.
- Night Flight Experience: Have a minimum of 200 hours of helicopter night flight experience.
- B407 Experience: Have experience flying the B407 aircraft.
