Electrical Systems Technician

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in collaboration with a reputable family-owned metal fabrication service provider, is looking for an Electrical Systems Technician to enhance their operational team.
Position DetailsShift: 1st shift
Compensation: $30-$34/hr
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain and oversee all machinery and facility systems, with a primary focus on electrical components.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical and electronic systems.
- Interpret and apply ladder logic for troubleshooting.
- Review and understand equipment manuals to conduct necessary preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Identify and rectify both electrical and mechanical faults to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Perform troubleshooting on PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC Drives, I/O Modules, and Motors.
- Install new equipment, refurbish existing machinery, and fabricate parts as needed.
- A minimum of five years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven electrical and mechanical expertise.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Basic familiarity with MIG welding, cutting tools, and fabrication is advantageous.
- Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Competence in basic mathematical concepts.
- Proficiency in using computer-based programs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens) for equipment programming.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to complete necessary documentation with basic reading and writing skills.
- Capability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Willingness to obtain licenses for industrial powered lift trucks and overhead cranes.
- General understanding of various metal stamping machinery.
- Preferred experience with multimeters for checking three-phase voltage.
- Possession of a personal toolbox and essential tools.
