Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Architect Designer to join our team. As an employee-owner, you will have a direct, long-term stake in Crafton Tull's continued success and will be part of a team that values your professional growth and invests in your future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assists in providing landscape technician and CAD drafting skills to all Crafton Tull offices.
  • Assists in drafting the layout of projects in collaboration with Landscape Architects, Engineers, and Surveyors.
  • Prepares Landscape Architecture preliminary designs and project plan sets utilizing the requisite software used by Crafton Tull offices.
  • Works closely with the Landscape Architect, Civil Engineer, Engineer Intern, Project Manager, support staff, and other team members to produce construction drawings.
  • Prepares preliminary cost estimates as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Makes corrections to plans following redlines provided by Crafton Tull staff or outside review agencies.
Requirements
  • Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college or university.
  • Or a two-year associate's degree in CAD drafting with at least 3 years' experience in Landscape Architecture plan production.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
