At HealthFitness, we're dedicated to creating meaningful connections with our participants to help them thrive. As an Early Childhood Development Associate, you'll be responsible for planning engaging activities for children in a safe and fun environment.

We're looking for someone who can multi-task, work quickly, and accurately while ensuring the children's safety and engagement. If you have experience working with children, possess excellent communication skills, and are able to navigate electronic systems, we'd love to hear from you.

A typical day as a Playgroup Support Worker might include greeting parents, interacting with children, and following up on their needs. You'll also plan stimulating games and tasks, observe and interact with children, and participate in activities like reading, painting, and crafts.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $14 to $15 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our part-time position requires approximately 4 hours of work per week in Burlington, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting each parent, interacting with parents, and following up on the needs of the child
  • Planning activities for children and assisting with stimulating games and tasks
  • Observing and interacting with children
  • Ensuring the children's safety and engagement in developmental activities
  • Participating in activities like reading, painting, crafts, and play
  • Sanitizing toys and play equipment

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Child/Infant CPR/AED and First Aid certification required within 1 month of hire
  • Ability to multi-task and work quickly and accurately
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems
  • Flu vaccination required
