Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality, efficient care to all patients. If you are passionate about patient care and thrive in a supportive team environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation.
- Produce high-quality computerized tomography images for diagnostic purposes.
- Assist and position patients on the CT table with compassion.
- Start IVs for contrast injections as needed.
- Evaluate image quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment between patients.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have:
- A degree from an accredited AMA program or a degree in Radiology Technology.
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) certification within one year of employment.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification within one year of employment.
- BCLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Two years of experience preferred, with additional training in CT scanning.
- Availability for on-call duties with a quick response time.
