Cranston is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer - Project Development Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

We are looking for an entry-level engineering professional who can assist in developing, planning, coordinating, and performing engineering work for multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to develop effective relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

  • The successful candidate will perform accurate analysis and design necessary to fulfill the scope of engineering services, prepare final construction bid documents, conduct periodic construction site observations, and attend project meetings as required by clients.
  • Assist with performing monthly billing of clients for work completed and provide assistance to the project manager with liaison between clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining project objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, construction, and operations groups.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform project decisions and improve processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of civil engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
