Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee event setup and cleanup processes.
  • Prepare food for smaller gatherings and collaborate with catering services for larger events.
  • Manage inventory levels for office and activity supplies.
  • Compile and distribute a weekly newsletter to resort guests.
  • Organize fundraising initiatives to support departmental goals.
  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are maintained in optimal condition.
  • Provide courteous telephone support and address routine inquiries regarding activities.
  • Manage petty cash funds and submit requests as needed.
  • Prepare end-of-month reports and other documentation as requested by management.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including email and internet usage.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and pricing on behalf of the organization.

The physical demands of this role require the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and to lift or move items weighing up to 75 pounds occasionally. Work hours may vary based on guest occupancy and other factors.
