Job Title: Phlebotomist I

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from patients using aseptic techniques and phlebotomy equipment.
  • Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Interact with patients in a professional and courteous manner, providing clear explanations of procedures and results.
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure efficient sample processing and testing.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient samples and test results.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting; phlebotomy experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.
