We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Rosauers Supermarkets. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality meats and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet and interact with customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations on meat products.
- Meat Preparation: Cut, trim, prepare, and package meats for sale, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Store Maintenance: Clean and maintain tools and equipment, and ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
- Inventory Management: Weigh, package, label, price, and display products, and perform quality inspections on meats and other products.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Teamwork: Cooperate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve store goals.
Requirements
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: Complete a pre-employment background check.
- Meat Preparation Skills: Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts.
- Food Worker Card: Maintain a current food worker card.
- Physical Demands: Ability to use hand tools, stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in cold environments.
