Manufacturing Plant Leader

Aerotek is seeking qualified candidates for a Manufacturing Plant Leader role. Ideal applicants will possess a background as a Plant Director or Manager, or have significant experience as a Production or Manufacturing Supervisor with aspirations for advancement within the organization. Experience in the food and beverage sector is highly desirable.

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Plant Leader will report directly to the VP of Operations and will oversee the manufacturing activities at the facility.

Typical hours are during the first shift, with on-call and overtime responsibilities as required.

Compensation: $100k (negotiable based on experience and interview performance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the manufacturing facility to meet operational excellence standards and achieve business objectives.
• Oversee the procurement and maintenance of the facility, equipment, and inventory.
• Promote and sustain initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Establish and enforce operational policies and procedures throughout production to ensure compliance with standards and food safety regulations.
• Support the plant quality system by implementing procedures and controls to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with the VP and Operations team to assess staffing requirements based on production schedules.
• Coordinate the recruitment and promotion of Operators and Supervisors in partnership with HR.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive leadership experience in managing manufacturing or plant operations, particularly in sous vide.
• At least 3 years of experience in production management.
• Experience with sous vide food industry production audits, good manufacturing practices, and food safety standards.
• Proven ability to drive production efficiency in a manufacturing setting.
• Exemplifies values of honesty, integrity, respect, teamwork, accountability, and performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology or a related field is preferred but not required, along with equivalent experience.
