Job Overview

Leapros is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumber to join our team. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in plumbing, including new construction, remodeling, commercial, and industrial projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials.
  • Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids; Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation.
  • Assemble fittings and valves for installation.
  • Modify the length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building.
  • Use saws and pipe cutters, as necessary.
  • Install heating and water heaters.
  • Collaborate with other trades staff.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems.
  • Analyze problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repair.
  • Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes.
  • Perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts, also for compliance with local and national regulations.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of plumbing installation, repairs, and maintenance techniques.
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • 4-5 years of experience as a Commercial Plumber.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex plumbing issues.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
  • Self-driven and ability to work safely and independently.
