Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Flexo PrePress Technician/Manager with a strong background in supporting a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Flexo process work (3-5 years).
  • Proficient in color separation and knowledgeable in prepress operations.
  • Experience in color management.
  • Familiarity with both Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to objectively assess employee performance and provide coaching for improvement.
  • Capable of troubleshooting prepress, plate, and press challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manipulates, edits, and processes electronic files from customers for printing.
  • Preflights and resolves issues with files, ensuring all customer specifications are met.
  • Conducts quality assurance for all graphic purchase orders, PDF proofs, and plates from both internal and external prepress vendors.
  • Manages multiple projects concurrently.
  • Interprets and comprehends complex instructions effectively.
  • Communicates efficiently with all departments to ensure workflow continuity.
  • Addresses inquiries and concerns from both internal and external customers.
  • Organizes job flow according to customer requirements.
  • Maintains equipment and schedules necessary maintenance for computers and printers.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
