  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proven experience in Production support, preferably within the Banking / Risk sector
  • Proficient in Windows / Linux operating systems
  • Strong database management skills (MySQL / Oracle / MongoDB)
  • Experience in Incident management and leading Incident Triage discussions
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk
  • Basic understanding of Cloud technologies (GCP / Azure)
  • Self-motivated with a track record of driving efficiency improvement initiatives

Position Overview:

This role is a senior technical position focused on the support of production systems, emphasizing incident management, problem resolution, change management, and other ITIL-related functions. The successful candidate will facilitate discussions and collaboration between development and business teams, gaining a comprehensive understanding of applications and their business implications. This position requires a high degree of independence and the ability to enhance and mature the support organization. The work environment involves managing large, complex, and critical applications across diverse technologies, including intricate Tier 1 IIS/.NET/SQL applications, web hosting with multiple server tiers, and application/server clustering and load balancing.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
  • 4+ years of experience with observability monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, ITRS, Splunk)
  • 4+ years of experience with Windows/Linux operating systems
  • 4+ years of experience in application production support
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Experience with cloud initiatives, preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting an enterprise-level environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 3+ years of SQL experience
  • Proven ability to manage initiatives focused on process improvements
