AI Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of AI to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of AI solutions that drive business growth and improvement.

• Collaborate with business units to identify and address workflow improvements aligned with business objectives.
• Design and test proof-of-concepts for GenAI solutions, coordinating with data engineers, business partners, and vendors.
• Manage offshore resources effectively to ensure seamless project execution.
• Contribute to the development of our GenAI Center of Excellence, driving innovation and best practices.
• Present project updates and new initiatives to senior leaders, effectively communicating complex ideas and solutions.

• 5 years of experience in analytics management and leadership roles, with a strong track record of success.
• 12 years of relevant experience, including graduate work, in AI, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and drive effective solutions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience handling diverse audiences and stakeholders.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) in business applications, with a deep understanding of their potential and limitations.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, collaborative environments, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

• Knowledge of Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance processes and automation, with experience in developing and implementing AI solutions in this domain.
• Experience leading tech-focused teams and defining technical requirements, with a strong understanding of software development and deployment.
• 5 years of Python development experience, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning.

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, with a strong academic record and relevant coursework.
