Job Title: AI Director

Job Summary:

Vaco is seeking an experienced AI Director to lead our Artificial Intelligence initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AI and machine learning, with a proven track record of driving business growth through innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Business Units: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address workflow improvements aligned with business objectives.
  • Design and Test AI Solutions: Develop and test proof-of-concepts for GenAI solutions, coordinating with data engineers, business partners, and vendors.
  • Manage Offshore Resources: Effectively manage and lead offshore resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to AI Center of Excellence: Contribute to the development of our GenAI Center of Excellence, driving innovation and best practices in AI.
  • Present to Senior Leaders: Present project updates and new initiatives to senior leaders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 5+ years in analytics management and leadership roles.
  • Relevant Experience: 12+ years of relevant experience, including graduate work.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex issues.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator with experience handling diverse audiences.
  • LLM Experience: Experience with LLMs in business applications.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Desired Skills:

  • P&C Insurance Experience: Knowledge of P&C insurance processes and automation.
  • Technical Leadership: Experience leading tech-focused teams and defining tech requirements.
  • Python Development: 5+ years of Python development experience.

Education:

  • Computer Science Degree: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
